Job Description


Bachelor’s Degree and 7 or more years of directly related experience. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience implementing training programs for software development organizations. Prior experience implementing training programs for individuals with disabilities is preferred. Capable of dealing with all levels of management, client executives and representatives, and external vendors. Excellent conceptual, analytical, quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail. Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks. Advanced user of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with SharePoint site management. Works well on a team and individually with the ability to plan and schedule activities to accomplish objectives in dynamic environment. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. Must be a US Citizen.

 Directly support the Program Managers, Deputy Program Managers, and other leadership in employee and organizational development. Serve as a liaison between program leadership and training vendors. Design and implement training programs, and suggest enhancements to existing training programs. Oversee relationships with training vendors. Coordinate with employees to manage progress on development plans, and to encourage participation in training programs. Establish and maintain metrics to measure progress towards employee development objectives. Plan and track the most effective use of funding allocated for employee development. Assist leadership with organizational management, such as workforce planning, talent management, training, recruiting, conferences, customer meetings, and travel. Evaluate, monitor, and ensure compliance with legislative laws, regulations, policies, standards, and procedures associated with a given project. Responsible for mentoring direct staff on job growth and career development, by providing training plans, performance evaluations, career guidance, and sharing knowledge. Assist management with recruiting of new staff. Assist management with training for current staff members. Monitors projects and ensures client requirements are met. Support the preparation of proposals, business plans, standard process documentation and other documents related to the government contract. May serve as a team lead and be assigned to mentor other team members. Attend required training. Perform backup support outside of the primary position function as assigned.
