Your responsibilities:
  • Work with local management and corporate CI to identify production, quality and commercial process best practices and then assist Jackson in adapting and implementing these practices.
  • With local management, identify improvement opportunities and provide assistance to realize improvement goals.
  • The CI Manager will become a conduit for transferring best practices from across the organization.
  • Lead/facilitate projects and/or events which address plant improvement opportunities.
  • Assist the department managers in A3 develop and project pipeline selection.
  • Lead and direct Root Cause Failure Analysis of significant People, Process, and Equipment related downtime events; implement permanent corrective actions to mitigate probability of reoccurrence.
  • Lead/facilitate FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) on all equipment/processes in the plant.
  • Support the plant and corporate CI in the development of programs/tools/techniques and communication.
  • The CI Manager assist the VP of Operations to determine appropriate staffing based on projected demand as part of the annual budget process.
  • The CI Manager will work with local finance and operations teams to ensure savings validated, measured and appropriate KPIs set up.
  • Provide event follow-up to monitor the progress of planned improvement implementation to assure timely action, appropriate support, and achievement of expected benefits. Use appropriate measurement, analysis and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document improvements.
  • The CI Manager will become proficient in the technical aspects of production, quality and other business processes.
  • Be a leader within the organization – engage the workforce.

  • Ability to apply technical recommendations in a pragmatic, hands on way to the actual operating environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent understanding of statistics, data distribution, and other lean tools such as SMED, 5S, Pareto Analysis, A3s, etc.




Bachelor’ s degree in Industrial Engineering or other technical field.

  • 5-10 years of experience in implementing CI improvements and processes in manufacturing industry
  • Previous experience in flexible packaging highly desired

  • Work in office setting and manufacturing areas
  • Travel will be involved as necessary including internationally
