As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for building new control systems and delivering work for projects.  This includes but is not limited to staging and connecting servers, workstations, and networking equipment, loading operation systems and custom software modules, integrating different components, onsite installation, commissioning, testing and remote support of the newly installed system

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Technical lead of one or more small medium energy management projects
  • Staging and connecting servers, workstations and networking equipment, loading operation systems and custom software modules, and integrating different components
  • Onsite installation, commissioning, testing and remote support of the newly installed systems
  • Lead the project delivery using company standards and optimized procedures
  • Engage and calibrate with other subject matter experts to achieve delivery while expanding own skill set
  • Implement the methodology, tools and processes to deliver quality of standardized systems using automated tools and build kit
  •  

Requirements
  • Bachelor' s degree in EE, IE, CS, IT or related field
  • 4 - 7 years' experience with Redhat, Linux, and SCADA is required
  • Experience with Data Acquisitions and deploying software and hardware
  • Leadership qualities and excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills around technical tasks performed directly and with other resources
  • Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including internal travel
